What is REACH?
REACH measures the agility of people, leaders, teams and the culture to adapt to different people, tasks and situations.
More specifically agility is a combination of awareness of the need to take a certain approach to specific people, tasks and situations AND having the skills to draw upon to take that improved approach.
That maybe knowing you need to plan in more detail – and having a technique to plan, or pushing yourself forward and transitioning from analysis paralysis to action, or maybe it’s having the social and emotional intelligence to listen when you want to speak.
Or having the courage to deal with the conflict you have been avoiding, or even knowing that the diversity of strengths in your team means that you will get a better outcome if you ask for the support of other people with strengths that are complementary to yours.
